Spend a quality family afternoon with the MPO and be entertained by an unexpected blend of tales and music as the MPO brings to life, Dorff’s Three Fun Fables to pique interest in the young as they learn about music and discover orchestral instruments. Listen to the tales of The Fox and the Crow (with trumpet and contrabass), The Dog and his Reflection (trombone and violin/harp/percussion) and The Tortoise and the Hare (contrabassoon and clarinet). Conducted by Jebat Kee and collaborating with Sara Valentine and Michael Boudewyns from Really Inventive Stuff group. The MPO will commence the concert with Mozart’s Toy Symphony and conclude with Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.

Out of consideration for both audience and artists, children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the concert hall unless otherwise indicated.
For the Family Fun Day concert, only children age 4 years and above are allowed with admission tickets.
