Watch Sergei Prokofiev’s children’s theatre composition, Peter and the Wolf comes to life as the MPO weaves its musical notes to narrate the story of this beloved Russian folktale. Catch the strings reflect Peter’s energy while the sounds of the horns follow the steps of the Wolf. Conducted by Gerard Salonga and narrated by popular content creator Ceddy Ang, this excellent work teaches children about the unique sounds of an orchestra’s musical instruments. And underneath Prokofiev’s musical finesse is a story about courage and vigilance, making it a great concert for a precious family afternoon.
