To commemorate bilateral relations between Malaysia and Germany, DFP, in collaboration with the German Embassy, is staging a recital with two pianists from both countries; Malaysian Hii Mei Lin and German Caroline Fischer will bring the audience on a musical adventure from the West to the East, with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 and Colin McPhee’s Balinese Ceremonial Music, among others. An eclectic evening of musical mastery, friendship and diplomacy, this joyous and triumphant concert is a notable occasion that honours cooperation and togetherness brought by the universal language of music.
