As a continuation to recognise young talents in the country’s classical music scene, the MPYO (tutored by the MPO) invites you to a magical evening. With Malaysian virtuoso Tengku Irfan at the helm, watch the MPYO hold its own in a showcase that consists of Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture, Sibelius’ Violin Concerto (first movement), Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8 and a newly-commissioned Malaysian work. A display of local talents honed by the best musicians, watch the talented performers as they carve their space in classical music.
