Back for the fifth time, the MPO brings music from well-known anime series and movies onto its stage for an evening of sublime imagination, manga memories and excellent music. This one-of-a-kind concert boasts a repertoire of music from retro and new generation shows; tunes from series like Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Naruto and Detective Conan are given the orchestral touch and played alongside music from new productions like Spy x Family, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Your Name and Weathering With You. The concert’s highlight is music from the immensely popular 1980s series Dragon Ball, a fitting tribute to its mangaka, Akira Toriyama who passed away this year. Part retrospective, part celebratory, this unique concert brings all otaku back to classic anime, while peeking into the future of this beloved animation style through exciting new shows. Experience the sheer power and radical influence of anime, translated into an unforgettable symphonic performance!
