Experience music of pastoral landscape when the MPO joins the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in a memorable evening with Jörg-Peter Weigle at the helm. The programme consists of Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4, known for its evocative nature imagery and structural grandeur while organist Michael Schönheit enthrals with Rheinberger’s Organ Concerto No. 1, a romantic work with rich textures. Also included are Dupré’s Cortège et Litanie and Liszt’s iconic Variations on Bach’s “Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen”.

Out of consideration for both audience and artists, children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the concert hall unless otherwise indicated.
For the Family Fun Day concert, only children age 4 years and above are allowed with admission tickets.
